Tata Nexon EV has a permanent magnet AC motor, which will be powered by a lithium-ion battery. The battery given in it is water and dust resistance. Electric Nexon has a 30.2 kWh battery. The company claims that once fully charged, it will give a range of 300 km, i.e. Electric Nexon will cover a distance of 300 km.
1.Have two drive modes
This Tata SUV captures 0 to 60 kmph in just 4.6 seconds. At the same time, it takes only 10 seconds to catch the speed from 0 to 100 km / h. The car will be available in two drive modes Drive and Sport. Tata claims that the sports mode will get 6- percent more torque. Tata Motors has introduced Ziptron EV technology in this electric car so that people can experience performance, comfort, and affordability while driving. Nexon’s Gyptron technology will also be launched in the Ultros EV and Tigor EV.
Electric Nexon’s battery can be charged up to 80% in 60 minutes with a fast charger. At the same time, it will take 8 hours to charge the battery with the standard home charger. It will get a range of 4 kilometers per minute charging with a fast charger and this electric SUV will run for 150 kilometers when charged 50%. The Nexon EV will come with a Dedicated Battery Management System (BMS), which is designed for an extended battery life of up to eight years and will continue to deliver superior performance.
3.Big Battery Pack
Nexon Electric has a 30.2 kWh battery pack, which gives 129 hp power and 254 Nm of torque. The company has given Lithium-ion battery pack in it, which has been specially tested keeping in mind the Indian roads and environment. This battery pack has an IP67 rating, which does not affect water and dust. At the same time, there will be a liquid cooling feature in the battery pack, so that it can get better performance even in hot temperatures.
4.Up to 1.6 million km warranty
The company has tested the battery of the car more than 1 million km and the company will also give a warranty of eight years or 1.6 lakh km on it. The Nexon EV will provide permanent magnet AC motor, which will improve torque and the battery will not drain too quickly. The Nexon EV can also be charged from a 15A (ampere) power outlet and no additional charging ports will be required. In less than an hour, this car will be charged up to 80 percent. The standard charger will take 7 to 8 hours to charge.
Nexon Electric will come in three variants (XM, XZ + and XZ + Lux). Its look is very similar to the standard Nexon (petrol-diesel model). The electric SUV gets a humanity line grille, projector lights with sharp headlamps and LED DRLs. The car gets wide air dam, fog lamps with chrome bezels, new alloy wheels and outside rearview mirror with turn indicators. Unlike the standard Nexon, it has a badging of the Nexon EV.
Electric Nexon’s cabin is also very similar to that of standard Nexon. However, the Nexon EV features a 7.0-inch part digital instrument cluster similar to the company’s upcoming premium hatchback Ultraz. There will be other information including battery level and range.

Nexon Electric’s entry-level variant XM will get features such as automatic climate control, two drive modes, keyless entry, and push-button start. The XZ + will get dual-tone color options, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear camera, and leather finish steering wheels. The top variant XZ + LUX will feature a sunroof, leather finish seats, and automatic wipers and headlights.

Electric Nexon will get safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and cameras, seatbelt reminders, high-speed alert and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Talking about the comfort features of the vehicle, it will get features like sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto Support), automatic climate control, dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat, EBD with ABS. There will also be a feature of remote connectivity. Which will feature toave alert, intrusion alert, driving analytics. Its instrument control will be a 7-inch TFT.
